The future of peace depends upon the kind of strategic leadership offered by the U.S. Administration of President Trump. As the President astutely noted, the current border dispute is heavily shaped by centuries of war and conflict, and now is the time for a major change in how Cambodia and Thailand manage their shared border. It is important to note that this is not only an exploration of new ideas on how to peacefully negotiate a border between two nations, but a new paradigm for how the region can peacefully manage and resolve internal conflict in the future.
